Confidentiality & Information Sharing Statement
Universal Islamic Day Care Centre is committed to treating all information shared with our staff by parents, guardians, and carers with the utmost care and confidentiality.
All matters discussed with our staff regarding adult, families, or personal circumstances will be handled sensitively and will not be shared with third parties without the prior consent of the parent or guardian, except where we are legally or professionally obliged to do so.
Legal and Safeguarding Responsibilities
Confidential information may be shared without consent in the following circumstances:
- Where there is a safeguarding concern and sharing information is necessary to protect the welfare or safety of an adult
- Where an adult, parent, or another person may be at risk of harm
- Where disclosure is required by law, regulation, or a court order
- Where we are required to share information with relevant statutory agencies in line with safeguarding guidance
Information is shared only on a need‑to‑know basis and in accordance with national safeguarding guidance and best practice.

As-salamu alaykum. Universal Islamic Day Care Centre provides a supportive environment for adults aged 18 and over with physical or learning disabilities. We serve families across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Dudley, Handsworth, Smethwick, Wednesbury, Walsall, and all nearby areas in the West Midlands, offering a community service rooted in compassion and Islamic values.
